The Kiddiecade was born out of a deeply personal journey and a shared passion for creating a space where families can truly thrive.

In 2023, Fifteen years after welcoming their first child (Zion), founders Bryn and Marlene Williams were ecstatic to learn they would soon become parents to a second child (Kalani). As registered nurses with busy schedules that often collided, this life changing surprise led to Marlene leaving her career to become a stay at home mom - an eye opening change to say the least! As they navigated this new chapter, it was quickly revealed how few options existed where parents could bring their baby for engaging, educational fun while also having a moment to themselves.

As Kalani grew, the need for such a space became glaringly obvious during various day-to-day experiences. Parent meet-ups, PTA meetings, and casual outings often left Marlene juggling between keeping Kalani entertained and the personal need for adult interaction outside of the home. Visits to play cafés often resulted in lukewarm coffee and limited conversations because of the need to remain hyper-focused on safety and engagement. Marlene yearned for a place where she could take her daughter to learn and play, while also enjoying a hot cup of coffee, checking emails, or simply connecting with other parents.

From this need, our vision was born.

The KiddieCade is more than just a play space—it’s a haven for families. It’s a place where parents can feel confident that their children are safe, engaged, and having fun with SMARTplay—technology-based activities that combine learning, creativity, and sensory development. At the same time, it’s a space designed with parents in mind: complimentary customizable coffee options, comfortable lounge seating, plenty of workspace, and the chance to connect with other adults while their children are immersed in enriching play.

Bryn and Marlene envisioned a space where parents could be hands-off while remaining present, and their children could grow, learn, and explore in a safe environment.
